Week 11
September 27, 2004 — We started framing the second floor, after setting out loose boards to show where the walls wound be last Friday. We made a few tweaks.* Ted put me to work, helping to put the side wall up (“Stop taking pictures and do some work!”). And the second floor roof joists were started on Friday afternoon.
*I wish I had made one other tweak, in the laundry room. Make sure that you can open the dryer door and the room door at the same time!
