Week 35
March 14, 2005 – The stairs were finished, and are covered with paper for protection. I went back to United Marble and Granite to pick the fireplace surround and hearth. This is a soft green granite from Pietra Fina. It wasn’t what I originally envisioned, but it just popped out at me. The sink arrived Friday afternoon. The folks at United broke off a hunk of the Lila Gerais for me to see in the kitchen.
